Scarecrow Festival!

Saturday-Sunday 6^th & 7^th September 2008

We now have over 20 scarecrows on the trail!

Programme of Events

 

Saturday

         From 9am: follow the scarecrow trail around the village - available all weekend from St Martin's Church

         Mothers’ Union flower displays in church. Teas available – all weekend

        Family Rounders Game – Saturday from 4pm -  playing field

         BBQ - from 5pm  - playing field  (liquid refreshment available!)

         Scarecrow Family disco  – 6pm-8pm in the school hall.  Dress up as a Scarecrow and maybe win a prize!

 

Sunday

Holy Communion service 10am St Martin’s Church – all welcome!

      Scarecrow trail and flower displays in church all day from 11am (during the service the trail sheets will be available in the porch)

         Cricket match – 2pm - playing field

         Hunt’s Court Garden open– teas available – entrance £3.50 proceeds to charity
