You will have just had your On The Edge, but of course my report there is out of date by now as we are moving so fast towards our deadline!
As of this morning we have amassed £3,072 from fund raising events and £6,142 from donations - £1,000 of which came from the Music Festival.
That's £9,214 !
We have some more money due from Ready Steady Cook and Beer4All - not quite sure how much yet - so you can see we are very nearly there!
We hope that the Sunday Breakfast on Sunday October 12th will close the gap - so see you there!
Once we have reached this target, the building work can start. We will then continue to fund raise (at a less frenetic level) for equipment so we can buy new tables, chairs, curtains etc.
