Music forms an important part of our worship to God.  Our Church Choir is of a good standard and sings at the Sunday Eucharist and at major services typically at Easter and Harvest.  The annual service of Lessons and Carols at Christmas is also an important service in the Choir’s calendar.

The choir has a broad repertoire ranging from 15th century music through to 20th century composers.  St Martin’s is fortunate to have a dedicated group who produce a good sound and are extremely competent across a wide range of music.

The choir is a very friendly organisation and is always on the look out for new members so, if you have a reasonable singing voice (Soprano, Alto, Tenor or Bass) and would like to join why not contact the Organist & Choirmaster and send an e-mail giving your particulars and we will be sure to get back to you. Don't worry though, sight singing or a depth of musical knowledge is not a pre-requisite.
