is a small but very lively village on the Cotwsold Way, 2 miles N.W. of Wotton-under-Edge www.wotton-under-edge.com. And if you think our village has a funny name you’ll wet yourself over nearby Waterley Bottom! We are approx 12 minutes from J14 of the M5 but can also be accessed via Dursley from J13.The centre of Bristol and Cribbs Causeway,  where  you’ll  find  a major out - of - town  shopping  complex www.mallcribbs.com, food outlets and Vue cinema, can be reached within 30 minutes.

With a population of approx 1000 our village is small but very lively.
Social events, such as: Frog Racing; plays; fancy-dress discos; open gardens; quiz nights; live music from local bands and many other fun occassions are regularly organized and well-attended. North Nibley has its own music festival www.nibleyfestival.co.uk and in September 2008 we’re having our first Scarecrow Festival

Accommodation: there are 2 B&Bs and the village pub also offers accommodation
www.blackhorsenorthnibley.co.uk You can eat at either of the two pubs, although The New Inn is hidden away at Waterley Bottom and tables need to be booked (01453 543659).

Ours is a real village with a church, a chapel, a primary school, 2 pubs, a village hall, a sports field and a community-run shop and Post Office.   We’re close to the site of the Battle of Nibley Green (1469), the last private pitched battle on English soil www.cotswoldedge.org.uk/northnibley/nibleygreen.htm and the Tyndale Monument www.timetravel-britain.com/articles/country/tyndale.shtml, which stands proudly over us and can be seen for miles around.
